The main reason to get this CD is to get "Legrand Jazz," a album by French composer/arranger Michel Legrand. The liner notes tell the story of how Legrand did an album called "I Love Paris" which unexpectedly became a big hit in the U.S., and for which he was not adequately compensated/5(8).

This is an incredible album of jazz musician all-stars providing wonderful performances that are filled with uplifting energy, virtuosity, and inspiration. The sound quality is outstanding. This album fully deserves five stars. I bought it about 30 years ago and hope that one day it will be available on CD/5(6).
